Soulful melodies, captivating performances

The New York Korean American Student Choir (NYKASC) is a youth-driven ensemble committed to making a difference in their community. Comprising approximately fifty students, the choir celebrates Korean American culture through music and service, combining talent with a passion for giving back.

The choir’s volunteer work extends beyond performances. They have brought joy to senior centers, fostered cultural appreciation through their participation in local festivals, and lent their voices to charitable events. A standout moment was their rendition of the national anthem at a New York Mets game, where they represented the Korean American community on a major stage  .

In addition, the NYKASC has collaborated with organizations to support causes such as youth education and intergenerational connections. Their performances at fundraising events and public spaces like Roosevelt Field Mall exemplify their mission to bridge communities and generations through music  .

By fostering leadership and empathy among its members, the NYKASC empowers young people to make a meaningful impact. Their work showcases the transformative power of music to unite, heal, and inspire across diverse audiences.
